In December 2013 and May 2014, Bert-Jan Ottens organised and facilitated 2 workshops for UNITAR and CBI respectively, which both took place in Abu Dhabi. The workshops were for SMEs and support organisations (government and non-government) from Afghanistan, with the aim to identify opportunities for trade development in Natural Ingredients for food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. In 2015, subsequent programmes for Natural Ingedients in Afghanistan and Pakistan will take off, supported by IN2NI partners.
