Our network of experts will be taking part in several major trade fairs around Europe the next few months. Our first station will be Biofach in Nuremberg, the largest trade fair for organic products in Europe.
There, the ProFound team will be supporting the FairWild Foundation, (Booth 1-655) with promoting its activities to brands with an interest in sustainable wild collection. We are also supporting FairWild’s event “Building sustainable sources of wild-collected raw materials: the FairWild approach” which will be held on the 12th of February at 16hr00 (Room Krakau, NCC Ost).
Other team members will be there to support exhibitors of the honey sector development programme (ASPIRE) in Ethiopia with promoting their honey and beeswax in Europe (Booth 4-441). IN2NI is also engaging with natural ingredient companies from Kosovo (Booth 4-569), as part of a sector assessment for non-wood forest products (NWFPs) under the mandate of the Promoting Private Sector Employment (PPSE) programme – Swisscontact Kosovo.
Klaus Duerbeck Consulting is dividing its activities. Klaus Dürbeck will be present at the SIPPO pavilion (Hall 4, stand 111) servicing the Swiss Import Promotion Programme and its companies including from Nepal. Matchmaking for the German market is the task of Teresa Hüttenhofer on behalf of the German Import Promotion Desk IPD (Hall 9, stand 526).
Walter De Boeck will be present on stand 221 in Hall 7A (Vivaness) with the French company Nateva , exhibiting organic and fair trade essential oils and extracts from Africa and Nepal.
IN2NI will also be scoping potential partners for a Natural Ingredients project in Pakistan and Afghanistan and engaging with certifiers to allign certification trajectories in our different projects. The IN2NI team will also come together to fine-tune its strategy and forward actions.
Later this year, you can find us at In-Cosmetics in Barcelona in April, FI Istanbul in May and Vitafoods in Geneva in May. We will provide you with more news on these and other activities in the coming weeks.
